Corporate & Professional Pensions Limited do not hold investments in their own name but are held by us as Trustees for you as the beneficiary. Your investments will be held in a nominee account. Please note that you are able to use any combination of the options given below.

Direct Clients - open an account on a suitable "on-line" platform or alternatively an execution only account with a stockbroker.

IFA Clients - open a suitable account on a platform or alternatively with a stockbroker or fund manager.

Stockbroker - open a suitable account with a stockbroker, who will usually have their own platform, and you will decide which type of service your require:

With an Advisory Portfolio, the Stockbroker will offer advice on which shares a client should buy or sell, but ultimately it is the client's decision whether to act on this advice or not. In many cases this kind of service will attract an annual percentage fee as well as commission on each transaction. An Advisory Service is usually only available for larger portfolios (£50,000 and upwards) and after the client has signed an agreement form.

A Discretionary Portfolio Management Service is appropriate for clients who wish to delegate all investment decisions to the Stockbroker. The Stockbroker has the authority to deal on behalf of a client and to make investment decisions without their prior approval. The minimum size of a Discretionary Portfolio is usually £50,000. A fee will be charged on the value of the entire portfolio alongside standard commissions on dealing.

This service provides you with direct access to UK and overseas equity markets and various asset classes. You can talk to a qualified stockbroker before executing a trade, but any investment decisions will be your own. Standard dealing commissions will apply.
